In January 2017, a group of us discussed ways to better serve our community. We had each been involved with another fundraising efforts, but had received feedback stating that the community wanted to see more assistance locally. Our community members wanted help with co-pays and mileage. So these are what we decided to focus our efforts towards. Helping the residents in Wyoming County living and fighting debilitating diseases.
We have been working on gathering the paperwork and contacts needed to make the Hope Foundation for Wyoming County, NY a 501c3, as well as having funds available to help those in need of assistance. The Hope board is moving closer to our goal! In the future, we also plan to include, support groups, skincare classes, wig sources, and volunteer drivers. As we work on the 501c3, we are raising funds through our Yummies Sundae of the Month Coupon Calendars, T-Shirt sales, a Corn Hole Tournament, and the Weekend for Hope. Please stop by and help us help our community.
